PURPOSE: Solo Mom’s is an entity of our Women’s Ministry here at Pine Grove. Our aim is to create a community to support single mothers, as well as offer benevolence to assist them when needed.
It is our mission to empower, enrich, and encourage our single mothers... How do we do that you ask?! We do that By creating opportunities just for single mother’s. It is our desire to point them to Christ’s hope, and in that same spirit, we will offer a hand-up.
The GUIDELINES:
*Must be a single Mom of a Child or children under the age of 18.
*Member of Pine Grove and/or a resident within the Madison County community
*Assistance is designed to be a help-up, but not a continuous source of household support. No more than two (2) offerings of assistance will be made in a given calendar year.
*An established amount will be determined by the Team.
*Individuals seeking assistance must complete the SOLO Mom’s assistance form found on the church website; no verbal requests will be considered. The recipient will be contacted within 24 hours of submission.
*Financial Assistance decisions will be made on the 15th and 30th of each month; no decisions will be finalized between these dates unless it’s identified as an immediate need. A decision will be made on your request accordingly; you will be contacted within 3 business days of the decision meeting.
*Financial Assistance will be paid directly to the individual.
